How to Create Piano Playlists to Organize Your Practice

Group songs by mood, skill level, or occasion. Build playlists, share them with the community, and discover what others are learning.

Why Use Playlists?

When you have 9,000+ songs to choose from, it helps to organize. Playlists let you group songs together so your practice sessions are focused and your favorites are always easy to find.

How to Create a Playlist

  • Sign in to your Super Simple Piano account
  • Go to My Playlists from your profile or the navigation menu
  • Click Create Playlist and give it a name and description
  • Browse songs and click the "+ Playlist" button to add them
  • Set your playlist to Public (share with the community) or Private (just for you)
  • Playlist Ideas

Here are some ways other users organize their playlists:

  • "Morning Warm-Up" — 5-6 easy songs to start each practice session
  • "Songs I'm Learning" — Your current works in progress
  • "Party Songs" — Upbeat songs to play when friends are over
  • "Chill Vibes" — Relaxing pieces for winding down
  • "Wedding Set" — Songs you're preparing for a special event
  • "Kids Favorites" — Simple songs your children enjoy
  • Adding Songs to a Playlist

You can add songs from multiple places:

  • The **"+ Playlist" button** on the player page
  • The **hover menu** on any song card
  • After **completing a song**, you'll see an option to add it
  • Discover Community Playlists

Visit the Community page to see what other players are learning. You can:

  • Browse public playlists from other users
  • Like playlists you enjoy
  • Remix a playlist — copy it to your account and customize it
  • Sort by newest, most liked, or most songs
  • Share Your Playlists

When you set a playlist to Public, it appears on the Community page for everyone to discover. It's a great way to recommend songs to other beginners or share a themed collection.
