But when we (G)got to school on Mon day, I heard the (D)news. My (G)lit tle girl asked (D)me why ev ’ry (C)bod y looked so sad. The (G)lump in my throat grew (D)big ger with ev ’ry (C)ques tion that she asked un til I felt the tears run down my face and I (G)told her that A lys sa would n’t (C)be at school to day. ’Cause she does n’t (G)lie in the class room, she does n’t (C)lie an y more at school.
