I have seen the (F)dark and (Csus)des p’rate (C)place where (Csus)sin will take you.

I’ve felt lone li (F)ness and (Csus)shame.

And I have watched (F)the blind ing light of (C)grace (Csus)come break (C)ing through with a sweet ness on ly tast ed by the for (Bb)giv en and re deemed.

Still, (Bbsus2)wish they knew.

And some day I’ll sit down with my an (F)gel friends up in Heav en.

They’ll (Am)tell me a bout cre a tion,

and I’ll tell them a sto ry of grace.
